WE HAVE NEXT!

Today we launched our skills and development pick-up games @ the Douglass Community Center in Plano,TX. This aspect of our program will give our students something tangible to prepare for as we approach the summer basketball season. These games will encourage the athletes to implement the training they have received in a high tempo and high competitive environment. It will also challenge the athletes to approach our skills sessions with more focus. It's very rewarding to see the immense improvement and teachings being displayed in action. This tool also provides us with a guide on the areas of improvement for each individual. These training aids will be highly beneficial for us as trainers, for the betterment of our athletes, and brand moving forward. We appreciate all the parents and players whom participated...and a special thanks to Mrs. Baker for her generous snack and beverage donation. Next run will be on Sunday May 6th @ 3pm.

Currently Bumpin'...116 Clique: Man Up

What makes this project so uncommon, is that it features a cluster of the elect christian hip-hop artists; 116 Clique...providing a soundtrack to this mini motion picture; Man Up. The music is fire and the film real! Highlighting the struggles that we as men go through on a daily. The huge downfall with this piece is that its entirely to short. The CD is only 7 tracks...all bangers though, and the DVD is roughly an hour long including the featured commentary. Its one of those things where just as it gets heavy...its over! All in all, awesome creative package and good product for the soul.

...Trip Lee: The Good Life

All I can say is... THIS IS A MUST HAVE ALBUM! From track 1 to 15, Trip hits you with thought provoking bars over killer beats on what living "THE GOOD LIFE" really looks like. See the world thinks they are slick by painting the picture with meaningless possessions and filthy lust... leading many to go astray and never tapping into the GOOD that God has to offer us. Trip does it on this project. After hearing his single "I'm Good", which released a month or so ago. I knew God had elevated his artistry and broadened his vision! God pick this up like right now... It was so difficult for me to choose just 1 song to post...but this track gave me the chills...FANTASY!

... Rhema Soul: Fingerprints.

I was introduced to this unique group by our Connections and Small Groups Pastor from church. He just recently moved here(TX) from Florida where he was "connected' to these individuals. What makes this group so different is that it consists of a married couple and their friend. This combination is explosive... and once i heard it I was pumped! It's awesome to see married couples in ministry together... serving Christ hardcore in and out of the home! That's deep to me...and this music is just as deep!
I traveled to Florida last week for the Final Four tourny w/ my ABA squad... Bumpin' the tunes of Rhema Soul was a perfect fit.

CLUB #5

For the past few months, I have been working alongside the youth pastor @ the church I attend(Family Worship Center in McKinney, Tx, implementing creative ways to expand our school ministry; JCM(Jesus Christ Movement). The JCM clubs provide a resource for students in public school to get connected and more acquainted with the love of our Lord and Savior. We have an attainable goal of 20 schools by the end of the year... Just launched numero five!
Today I had the pleasure of speaking and in fellowship with a group of amazing individuals. These intelligent students attend Theo Home-School Network, which provides an impressive alternative to your traditional school. Super cool kids...looking forward to the growth of this club!
